This notice explains what personal data apply for licence collects, why, and what your rights are under UK GDPR.
apply for licence is operated by Domain Farm Ltd (company number 13544286, VAT GB435224124, registered office Vantage House, Euxton), which is the data controller for the purposes of this notice.

What data do we collect?

We collect the information you choose to give us, plus basic technical data generated by visiting the site.

What's our lawful basis for using your data?

We rely on the lawful bases available to us under UK GDPR, depending on what you've asked us to do.

  • Contract: where you've asked us to provide a paid service, such as checking an application.
  • Consent: where you've opted in to something like an email update, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legitimate interests: for basic site analytics and keeping the site secure and working properly.

We do not use your data for anything beyond what it was collected for, and we do not sell your personal data.

Do we submit anything to government on your behalf?

No, not without your clear, specific instruction to do so.

We do not submit applications, forms or data to GOV.UK, the SIA, the DVSA, your local council or any other government portal on your behalf unless you have explicitly instructed us to, as part of a paid service you've chosen.

Do we share your data with anyone else?

Only where it's necessary to provide a service you've asked for, such as a payment processor to take a payment, or, where you've asked for a referral, the specific training provider or licensing consultant you're being referred to.

We don't share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your separate consent.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep personal data only for as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law, such as accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.

Are we registered with the ICO?

Our ICO registration is currently in progress; this notice will be updated with our registration number once it's confirmed.

What are your rights?

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to ask us to delete it, and to object to or restrict certain uses of it.
